Texas Scramble rules

An accessible and sociable format, ideal for mixed skill levels within one flight.

  1. Every player in the flight tees off from the tee.
  2. The team chooses the best ball of the four tee shots.
  3. All players play their next ball from that chosen position.
  4. This repeats until the ball is in the hole.
  5. One score per team is recorded per hole.
  6. Each player must take a minimum of 3 tee shots.

This keeps the pace high and lets everyone take part, regardless of handicap.
